Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Locum Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to provide high-quality patient care. Experience in a hospital setting, particularly with MSK patients, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance recovery and improve mobility.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-management strategies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy.

Experience

Previous experience is preferred, particularly in MSK related.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential.
Proven ability to provide exceptional patient care with a focus on empathy and support.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
