Full job description

Job Summary
We are an independent and predominantly private Dental Practice , located in West Sussex and we are looking to recruit a qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly team.

Ideal candidate must be qualified and willing to be proactive and willing to improve whenever possible or needed. An implant experience is a plus, but not a must.

Duties

Assisting the dental team with patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Managing patient appointments efficiently using IT systems, maintaining accurate records.
Greeting patients warmly upon arrival and providing clear information regarding treatments and procedures.
Handling telephone enquiries professionally, scheduling appointments, and managing cancellations or rescheduling.
Maintaining a clean and sterile clinical environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Supporting administrative tasks such as updating patient records, processing payments, and managing correspondence.
Ensuring effective communication between patients and staff to facilitate seamless service delivery.
Providing advice on post-treatment care and answering patient questions with clarity and empathy.
Being a treatment coordinator when required
Covering Reception when required
Decontamination of instruments and premises

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or Receptionist within a private dental practice is essential; we are looking for a qualified and experienced Dental Nurse.
Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient wellbeing.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is desirable.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A professional attitude coupled with organisational skills to ensure smooth daily operations within the practice. This role offers an engaging environment where your skills in patient care, organisation, and communication will be valued highly. Pay: From £15.00 per hour
