An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Team as a Home Care Coordinator.

Are you highly organised, people-focused, and passionate about delivering outstanding care? We’re looking for a Home Care Coordinator to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring vulnerable people in our community receive the quality care they deserve.

As a Home Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our service—balancing care delivery, staff coordination, and client satisfaction. You’ll ensure that every care package runs smoothly while supporting and motivating a dedicated team of carers.

About The Role

Are you passionate about person-centred care and supporting people to live well, safely, and independently at home?

Are you an experienced professional with strong organisational skills, looking for a new challenge?

As a Home Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high-quality care delivery across the team.

You will:

Coordinate and support a team of Home Care Workers
Develop a detailed understanding of each client’s needs, preferences, and wishes
Work collaboratively with clients and colleagues to deliver personalised care
Support, empower, coach, and motivate staff to deliver excellent standards of care
Promote understanding of what “good care” looks like in practice
Bring people together, remain adaptable, and demonstrate sensitivity in all interactions

You will be required to work one in four weekends on call between the hours of 6.30 - 22.30 paid in addition to your salary.

Required Criteria

Ability to lead a team with excellent communication skills
Ability to participate in an out of hours on call rota
Experience within domiciliary care setting
experience of a coordinator skills
Experience of rostering staff and managing rotas

Desired Criteria

Experience of assessing the needs and risks of vulnerable adults
Experience of managing a team and completing staff supervisions and appraisals

Originally known as Worthing Council of Social Service, the organisation focused on alleviating poverty, isolation, and health challenges during difficult times.
