Full job description

A permanent position has arisen in our busy office for a full time experienced Administration Assistant to join the team.

Daily tasks will include;

-Being the first point of contact for all incoming phone calls

-Using Sage 200 database to process up to 40 customer orders per day and review the required technical specifications.

-Using Sage 200 database to dispatch customer orders and issue paperwork to the packing department and communicate with customers about their deliveries.

-Using Sage 200 database to maintain and update pricing records

-Processing and dealing with general email enquiries received to your own and shared mailboxes.

-Resolving customer delivery and order queries, liaising with production or external couriers

-Sending monthly statements of account to customers

-Scanning and filing of manufacturing paperwork

Required;

Good communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
An enthusiastic approach to work with a willingness to learn

Desired

Experience processing orders with Sage 200 or similar system
Experience reviewing drawings or working in a technical environment
Experience in a customer service role
