We’re looking for a confident, positive, and people-focused Reception Host to join our front-of-house team at RED Hotels. As one of the first faces our guests see, you’ll play a key role in shaping their experience — creating a warm welcome, building genuine connections, and ensuring every guest feels looked after from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.

This is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are the same. From smooth check-ins and check-outs to answering guest queries, promoting hotel experiences, and coordinating with other departments, you’ll be at the centre of delivering exceptional hospitality.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally engaging, highly organised, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. If you enjoy working with people, can stay calm under pressure, and love being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Deliver a warm, friendly, and engaging welcome to all guests
Create a relaxed and personal first impression that reflects the RED Hotels brand
Manage smooth and efficient check-ins and check-outs with accuracy
Build genuine rapport with guests and personalise their stay experience
Promote hotel facilities, services, and local recommendations confidently
Work collaboratively with all departments to deliver a seamless guest journey
Take ownership of guest enquiries and resolve issues quickly and professionally
Balance exceptional guest service with speed and organisation during busy periods
Maintain accurate bookings, billing, and guest information at all times
Keep the reception area welcoming, organised, and presentable
Support the wider team and contribute positively to team culture
Represent the hotel with professionalism, personality, and pride

Qualifications:

Previous hospitality, reception, customer service, or front-of-house experience is desirable
Strong customer service background with a guest-first mindset
Confident using booking systems and administrative systems (training provided where needed)
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

Good organisational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
