Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coating Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating finishes to various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, or grinding as necessary.
- Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings uniformly to metal parts.
- Fabricate and assemble components as required, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for preparation and finishing processes.
- Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency within the production line.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role or environment is preferred But not essential.
- Familiarity with painting techniques and powder coating processes is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
