Role Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity within our Home Textiles team for a Copywriter Lead.

This role is responsible for developing and managing the brand's written voice across campaigns, e-commerce, social, CRM, PR, and wider communications.

The successful candidate will create compelling, commercially focused copy that brings the brand and products to life, while ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Working closely with Creative, Marketing, E-commerce, Product, and Commercial teams, this role will lead copy development and act as the internal expert on tone of voice and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Campaign Copy

Own and develop the brand's tone of voice across all channels.
Create copy for campaigns, product launches, seasonal activity, and promotions.
Develop headlines, taglines, campaign messaging, and creative concepts.
Ensure copy is engaging, distinctive, accurate, and aligned with the brand.

E-commerce & Digital

Create and optimise product descriptions and website content.
Develop copy for email, CRM, social media, digital campaigns, and paid advertising.
Ensure content is customer-focused, commercially effective, and SEO-friendly.
Review and improve existing content to support engagement and conversion.

Brand Storytelling

Develop blogs, articles, features, and wider editorial content.
Create compelling stories around products, collections, campaigns, and the brand.
Support PR, Influencer, and Marketing teams with relevant messaging and content.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with Creative, Marketing, E-commerce, Product, Sales, PR, and Commercial teams.
Manage multiple briefs and deadlines while maintaining a consistently high standard.
Provide creative input and constructive challenge to strengthen messaging.
Ensure copy is delivered accurately and on time.

Planning & Reporting

Maintain copy schedules across campaigns and product launches.
Monitor content performance and use insights to improve future activity.
Share recommendations and learnings with relevant teams.

Skills & Experience

5+ years' experience in Copywriting, Content, Brand Communications, or a similar role.
Experience within premium, lifestyle, fashion, homeware, or retail brands.
Exceptional written English and strong storytelling skills.
Proven experience developing and maintaining a brand tone of voice.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer-focused copy.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Experience across e-commerce, CRM, social, campaigns, and product copy.
SEO, analytics, and AI copywriting experience would be advantageous.

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Stockport SK4
