Full job description

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team as a sub contractor for ongoing work in the Plymouth area. The role involves a variety of carpentry tasks on residential construction projects, with a focus on both structural and finishing work.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out 1st fix tasks including stud walls, joists, roof structures, and door frames.
Perform 2nd fix duties such as skirting, architraves, door hanging, flooring, and kitchen fitting.
Interpret technical drawings and plans.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, complying with health and safety regulations.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
Own tools and PPE.
CSCS card not required
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to read and work from drawings.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay is dependant on skill and experience, this will be a self employed position.
