Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, supporting office operations, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a background in administrative support to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

39.5 Hours per week Mon - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00hrs, Friday 08:00 - 16:30hrs

Duties

Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Organise and schedule inbound / outbound loads within a busy transport office,
Perform data entry tasks with accuracy using Microsoft Office
Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation as required
Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems
Support team members with administrative needs to enhance overall productivity
Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-maintained

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational abilities
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Strong typing skills with the ability to produce documents efficiently
Effective communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
Previous clerical or administrative experience is preferred
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
