Do you love working with two-year-olds?

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced Room Leader to lead our welcoming toddler room at Canoe Lake Nursery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Outstanding nursery and take ownership of a beautifully resourced room with a maximum of just seven two-year-olds, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with every child and provide truly outstanding care and education.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
Has previous experience leading or senioring within an Early Years setting
Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development
Is confident leading, motivating and supporting a small team
Builds warm, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Has high expectations and takes pride in delivering outstanding care
Is organised, proactive and enjoys creating exciting learning experiences

Your Responsibilities

Lead the daily running of our toddler room
Plan engaging, child-led learning opportunities
Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and development are always the priority
Complete observations, assessments and planning to a high standard
Support and mentor team members
Build strong partnerships with parents
Maintain high standards of care, hygiene and safeguarding
