JOB TITLE – Seasonal Cook - Marina Fish & Chips
DEPARTMENT – Marina Fish & Chips
RATE OF PAY – £13.76 per hour
CONTRACT TYPE – Seasonal
HOURS OF WORK –37.5 hours per week

Overview
We're looking for an enthusiastic Seasonal Cook to join our Fish & Chips team. If you're passionate about food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering great customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

What Are We Looking For?
Our Ideal Hero Will Have

Experience working in a kitchen, takeaway, or fish and chip shop environment.
Experience using commercial fryers and kitchen equipment.
The ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure during busy service periods.
A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Good knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and food preparation standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
Passion for food and customer service.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.

What You'll Do
Implementing Our 'Yes, We Can' Philosophy, You Will

Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Operate commercial fryers and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Support the kitchen team during busy trading periods to ensure excellent service.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness, food hygiene, and health and safety compliance.
Assist with stock rotation, food preparation, and daily kitchen duties.
Deliver a positive experience for our guests by ensuring food is prepared quickly, safely, and to a high standard.
Maintain excellent food quality and presentation.
Support colleagues to deliver efficient, friendly service at all times.
