Our reputation for precision engineering is world-renowned, and we manage every stage of the product lifecycle in-house—from conceptual design and manufacturing at our Livingston facility to final commissioning on client sites globally.
We are currently looking for a motivated Case Building Technician to join our Assembly and Installation team. If you are passionate about high-quality mechanical and electrical systems and take pride in your craftsmanship, we want to hear from you.
The Role
You will be an integral part of the team, responsible for testing the build of cases in our factory and—once trained—installing these bespoke solutions on sites around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Museum Showcase Assembly & Finishing: Work both in our Livingston factory and at client sites.
- Technical Interpretation: Utilise digital drawings to ensure accuracy in every build.
- Material Handling: Expertly handle glass, steel, aluminium, and composite materials.
- Precision Work: Perform high-quality silicone sealing and mechanical/electrical integration.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of work, ensuring every project meets our world-class reputation.
- Global Travel: Expect a split of 50% factory work and 50% on-site work. On-site durations typically range from 1–2 weeks, with occasional extended projects of up to 6 weeks.
What We Are Looking For
We need someone with an exceptional eye for detail, a self-motivated attitude, and a desire to learn and improve.
- Experience: Proven experience in product assembly, cabinet making, or shop fitting.
- Technical Skills: Competency in reading technical drawings and using power and hand tools.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience in joinery, metalwork, glass handling, or precision assembly is highly advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
- Flexibility: Adaptable to work hours as required by business needs.

Working Hours
- Full-time, Permanent: 39.5 hours per week.
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday (07:00–16:00), Friday (07:00–12:30).
Previous experience:
You should be flexible and adaptable to work hours as required by business needs.
