The Trophy Events team offers award winning corporate hospitality packages tailored to every taste and preference, from the electric atmosphere of VIP Hospitality at major concerts, to Wimbledon, the Monaco Grand Prix and more!

Our packages allow business owners the opportunity to entertain their high value clients and staff at memorable events. Our clients may choose to watch the action from a private box, experience VIP access to exclusive areas, or enjoy a luxury dining experience.

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Telesales Executives to join the team in our main Glasgow Sales Office.

£25,000 per annum + uncapped commission (OTE £37k).

The Role

Outbound business-to-business Telesales role selling corporate hospitality packages for sporting occasions. Wimbledon, Royal Ascot, The British Grand Prix, The Premier League and many more.

In this position, you would work from Monday to Friday 8.45 am - 5pm. You will receive all the training, leads, and support you require to be successful in this position. On successful completion of probationary period, your working hours will be Tuesday to Friday 8.45am - 5pm... that's every Monday off!

Responsibilities

Cold-calling Managing Directors of businesses to secure new clients.
Maintaining a high contact rate on a daily basis.
Identifying and securing new customers.
Sourcing new business leads to contribute to your sales target.
Building your network of new business prospects and accounts.
Building and developing relationships with your clients ensuring the highest level of service and repeat business.
Attending events throughout the year to strengthen client relationships.
Securing referrals from prospects and clients.
Providing excellent customer service at all times.

Skills and Experience

2+ years of direct sales, influencing, questioning, listening, understanding, objection handling and closing.
CRM experience.
Proven track record of exceeding expectations within a fast-paced sales environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong work ethic with the burning desire to succeed.
Accountability – ensuring sales targets are achieved.
Confidence and an outgoing nature.
Positive outlook.
Passion for sales.
Self-starter approach and be willing to take the initiative.
Confidence working under pressure to complete tasks to deadlines.
Ability to “think on your feet”.
Ability to influence and get your point across including saying “no” to clients when necessary.
