Senior Sales Advisor – Badge Clothing Outlet

Dalton Park

Join the Badge Clothing Team

Badge Clothing is an established independent designer fashion retailer, bringing together some of the world's leading premium and luxury brands.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and commercially driven Senior Sales Advisor to join our team at the Badge Clothing Outlet at Dalton Park.

As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will be a key member of the store team, leading by example on the shop floor and delivering the high standards of customer service expected at Badge Clothing. You will use your experience, product knowledge and selling ability to maximise sales while supporting less experienced members of the team.

As part of this senior position, you will also undertake keyholder responsibilities, supporting the management team with the safe and effective opening and closing of the store when required.

This is a hands-on, sales-focused position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced designer retail environment and wants to take the next step in their retail career.

What You Can Expect

As a Senior Sales Advisor at Badge Clothing, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering an exceptional and engaging customer experience from initial approach through to completing the sale.
Leading by example and consistently demonstrating the selling and service standards expected across the store.
Working towards and achieving individual and store sales targets and KPIs.
Proactively identifying opportunities to increase ATV, UPT and overall sales performance through effective selling, cross-selling and product recommendations.
Developing strong customer relationships and encouraging repeat business and customer loyalty.
Maintaining excellent knowledge of our designer brands, products, fits, sizing, seasonal collections and current fashion trends.
Using product knowledge to confidently advise customers and recommend suitable products and complete outfits.
Supporting and assisting newer or less experienced Sales Advisors with product knowledge, selling techniques and customer service.
Working closely with Supervisors and the management team to help achieve daily and weekly commercial objectives.
Maintaining exceptional shop-floor standards, ensuring products are correctly sized, presented and replenished throughout the trading day.
Identifying stock and merchandising opportunities and communicating these to the management team.
Supporting deliveries, stock transfers, replenishment and general back-of-house operations when required.
Confidently operating tills and correctly processing sales, refunds, exchanges and vouchers in line with company procedures.
Ensuring company policies, procedures and operational standards are followed at all times.
Taking initiative during quieter periods and proactively identifying tasks that improve the store, customer experience or commercial performance.
Supporting the wider team during busy trading periods and helping maintain an organised, professional and positive working environment.

Keyholder Responsibilities

As part of the role, you may also be required to:

Hold responsibility for store keys and store security when designated as keyholder.
Open and close the store in accordance with company procedures.
Complete required opening and closing checks, ensuring the store is ready for trading or correctly secured at the end of the day.
Support till opening and closing procedures, including relevant paperwork and cash-handling processes where required.
Ensure alarms, doors, shutters and other security procedures are correctly followed.
Act as a responsible senior point of contact on the shop floor when a member of management is temporarily unavailable.
Escalate any operational, security, staffing or customer issues appropriately to the management team.
Help ensure the store is left safe, secure, organised and compliant with company procedures at the end of each trading day.

Your Profile

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in a sales-focused fashion retail environment, ideally within designer, premium or luxury retail.
Has a proven ability to deliver strong sales results and excellent customer service.
Is passionate about designer fashion, brands and current trends.
Is confident approaching customers, identifying their requirements and converting opportunities into sales.
Understands the importance of retail KPIs and commercial performance.
Has strong product knowledge and is motivated to continuously learn about new brands and collections.
Leads by example and sets a positive standard for other members of the sales team.
Is confident supporting and sharing knowledge with less experienced colleagues.
Is responsible, trustworthy and comfortable undertaking keyholder duties.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced retail environment.
Uses initiative and can work effectively without requiring constant direction.
Is flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the business.
Is comfortable using till systems and carrying out general stock and operational duties.
