Full job description

An exciting opportunity to join the team at Phototronics, the Norths leading school photography specialists as a full time photographer.

All candidates MUST hold a full UK driving license and have a suitably sized and fully insured vehicle as they must be prepared and able to travel to various locations around the NORTH EAST.

The perfect candidate must be able to work confidently with children, have a polite approachable manner and be comfortable communicating verbally with both adults and children. They must have the ability to work as part of a team and at times on their own.

Potential candidates should preferably have some suitable or relevant photographic experience, ideally with previous school experience and have detailed working knowledge of studio lighting and natural lighting and using a DSLR camera. However, full training will be provided to ensure that they meet the exceptionally high standards that we and our clients adhere to.

They must be available to work long hours as the position includes early starts, the odd late finish and the occasional weekend.

All our photographers must be reliable, hardworking, outgoing and committed. They must possess a flexible attitude towards their role and have the foresight to adapt to a multitude of different situations.

Photographic equipment is provided along with the before mentioned training and guidance needed.

Enhanced DBS checks will be required before commencement.

Job Types: Contract, permanent.

You will be expected to work during school term time and your holidays will coincide with school holidays. This will be discussed in more detail during the interview stage.

Salary based on experience and is reviewed annually.

The position also includes a very generous travel expenses package in addition to the salary.
