Full job description

Immerse Safety is expanding! We are looking for a reliable and organised Construction Health and Safety Administrator to support our growing client base across a range of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) projects. This is a remote freelance support role, focusing on assisting our clients, including contractors, developers, and CDM duty holders, with their health and safety documentation, compliance records, and project administration.

Previous knowledge and experience of CDM regulations and the construction industry is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with CDM administration duties across various projects
Preparing, formatting, and managing construction documentation including Construction Phase Plans, Pre-Construction Information packs, and Health and Safety Files.
Maintaining project records and document control systems on behalf of clients.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal team members to ensure documentation is accurate and current.
Assisting with scheduling, tracking actions, and general project coordination.
Providing general administrative support for construction and health & safety projects.

Requirements:

Essential

Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction health and safety processes
Previous experience in a construction / administration role.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to work remotely and effectively

Desirable

Experience supporting a Principal Designer and/or, a Principal Contractor,
Experience within health & safety consultancy or construction compliance.
Familiarity with construction document management systems or project management platforms.

Working Arrangements

Freelance / self-employed basis.
Remote working role / occasional attendance at our Great Yarmouth office may be required.
Pay negotiable depending on experience.
