Full job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Qualified Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 electrical qualification and possess relevant experience in the field.

Duties

Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
Replacement of consumer unit, Fan installaions/replacement and smoke alarms-Environmental sensors.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations.
Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools efficiently.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and health & safety standards.
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials utilised.
Assist in training junior team members where necessary.

Skills

Proven experience as a qualified electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters.
Extensive electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring regulations and safety procedures.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Good communication skills for liaising effectively with team members and clients. This role is vital for maintaining the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our electrical infrastructure while supporting ongoing projects across diverse environments.
