Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in management. This role involves supervising team members, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The Supervisor will play a vital role in motivating staff, organising workflows, and supporting organisational goals. This is a paid position suitable for individuals with previous supervisory or management experience who are eager to contribute to a professional and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise team members to achieve departmental objectives while fostering a positive work environment
Organise daily schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team performance
Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
Manage merchandising activities to optimise product presentation and sales opportunities
Oversee sales management activities, including achieving targets and enhancing customer engagement
Maintain excellent communication with team members, clients, and other departments through clear phone etiquette and organisational skills
Conduct regular training sessions to develop team skills and improve service delivery
Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, record keeping, and scheduling meetings
Assist in resolving customer complaints promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the workplace

Qualifications

Proven experience in supervising or managing teams within retail or similar environments
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate diverse teams
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
Experience in sales management, merchandising, or retail management preferred
Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
Administrative experience including report writing and record keeping
Professional demeanour with good phone etiquette and organisational skills
Management qualification or relevant training is desirable but not essential
