Full Time Assistant Manager

New Store Opening — Guildford, 2026

Emma Sleep is one of the world’s fastest-growing sleep brands — sold in over 30 countries, trusted by millions, and built on a relentless commitment to sleep science and customer experience. We’re opening our first authorised partner store in Guildford, and we’re building the team that will launch it.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, sales-led role for someone who wants real responsibility from day one. Working directly alongside the Store Manager, you’ll help build the culture, drive conversion, and deliver a customer experience that keeps people coming back. If you have the drive to develop into a Store Manager role, this is where it starts.

The Role

Own your section of the sales floor — lead by example on consultative, conversion-focused selling
Support the Store Manager in developing and coaching the wider team
Deliver a premium in-store customer experience that reflects Emma’s global reputation
Maintain exceptional store presentation, stock accuracy, and operational standards
Step up as acting Store Manager when required
Contribute to hitting and exceeding monthly sales targets

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a sales-focused retail role — you know how to convert footfall into revenue
Experience in or a strong interest in bedding, mattresses, furniture or premium home products
Consultative selling ability across considered, higher-ticket purchases
A natural communicator who builds trust quickly with customers and colleagues
Ambition — you’re not looking for a job, you’re looking for a career
Based in or able to commute easily to Guildford

The Offer

Salary: £30,000 per year (based on experience)
Commission: generous, uncapped commission on sales — your earnings reflect your performance
Full-time, in-person role at 69–70 North Street, Guildford
