The key purpose of this position is to support the delivery of a UHT wide project portfolio. The post-holder is responsible for ensuring project deliverables are effectively managed in collaboration with the wider project and stakeholder teams. Working closely with, Clinical Service Units, Corporate services and Finance Business Partners, as well as working alongside the current Service Improvement Office at South Tees, you will establish relationships to assist in delivering a portfolio of projects.
As part of the well-established Programme Management Improvement Office, the post-holder will play a part in ensuring the PMIO delivers the following:
Implementation of robust project management processes to ensure improved visibility and timely development and delivery of financial and improvement benefits.
The post-holder will work closely with operational, corporate and clinical colleagues to ensure compliance with Trust project management processes and ensure readiness for the various stages of project gateway reviews.
To support the Clinical Service Units (CSU) and Corporate services to deliver programmes of work, of varying degrees of complexity, to enable the Trust to deliver its strategic objectives.
Provide the role of critical friend and strategic partner to key stakeholders to ensure clear visibility of the project deliverables, risks and mitigation.
Maintain the online repository for the tracking and reporting of delivery phases for their project portfolio.
Support the development of a culture of project management excellence across the Trust through standardisation of guidelines, tools and templates.
Work with the services to develop benefits registers and realisations plans. Track, evaluate and report programme performance as part of their role, identifying and escalating any areas of concern in a timely manner.
