Full job description

Job Summary
We are a growing construction and property development company based in Sheffield City Centre seeking a highly organised and efficient Administration Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth administrative workflows, managing correspondence, and assisting with various clerical duties. This varied position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative skills within a professional environment, working closely with all members of the team to assist with our ongoing construction and developments projects.

Duties

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
Organise and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval of information.
Assist with data entry tasks using programmes such as Microsoft Office and Xero
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings
Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support project delivery.
Perform general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and maintaining office supplies inventory.

Skills

Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic data entry techniques.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
Ability to work independently and use initiative

Experience

Previous experience in an administrative, office coordinator, or accounts administration role is desirable.
Previous experience within the construction, property development, or related industries would be advantageous *but not essential*
