Minibus Driver
Hours: 25 hours per week
Contract Type: Term Time Only
Location: Regional
We are currently seeking a reliable and flexible Minibus Driver to join our team based in Ossett. This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible work with varying hours to suit service demand.
Key Responsibilities

Driving a school minibus safely and responsibly
Transporting passengers for:
School journeys
Airport transfers
Group travel and pre-booked trips
Ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all passengers at all times
Carrying out basic vehicle checks before and after journeys
Adhering to all road traffic laws, company policies, and safeguarding procedures
Representing the organisation in a professional and courteous manner
Essential Requirements
Full, clean UK driving licence

Category D1 entitlement (not 101 restriction)

Proven experience driving a minibus
Relevant minibus driver training and CPC required
Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
Strong understanding of passenger safety and duty of care

Additional Requirements registered on the Enhanced DBS with Update Service subscription, can be applied for at the time of interview.

References will be required, including your most recent employer Enhanced DBS certificate
A professional, friendly, and patient manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically able to assist passengers when required (e.g. boarding support)
Flexible working hours
Varied driving work
Supportive working environment
Opportunity for additional hours during busy periods
Ongoing training where required including Safeguarding
