Liam Bacon Ltd is a well-established, family-run Social Housing Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and long-term staff retention. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across Yorkshire, we are looking to recruit an experienced and customer-focused Resident / Tenant Liaison Officer to join our expanding team.

Projects will primarily involve external refurbishment works including roofing and solar installations, alongside some internal kitchen and bathroom improvement schemes within occupied social housing properties.

The Role

As a Resident / Tenant Liaison Officer, you will be the key point of contact for tenants throughout refurbishment and maintenance projects, ensuring residents are kept fully informed and supported throughout the works.

You will play a vital role in maintaining positive relationships between tenants, housing associations, and site teams while helping projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out pre-start visits, tenant inductions, and explain upcoming works clearly to residents.
Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, client representatives, and housing associations.
Manage tenant communication throughout the duration of projects.
Handle tenant queries and complaints professionally, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
Arrange appointments and manage your own workload and diary efficiently.
Collect signed agreements, approvals, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Attend and lead tenant meetings and community engagement events where required.
Monitor customer satisfaction and support the delivery of an excellent tenant experience.

About You

Previous experience as a Tenant Liaison Officer, Resident Liaison Officer, or in a similar customer-facing role within social housing, construction, or planned maintenance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
Strong understanding of customer care within occupied properties.
Confident managing complaints and resolving issues in a calm and professional manner.
Well organised with strong administrative and IT skills.
Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to travel across Yorkshire.
