The Apprenticeship Program:

The Apprenticeship Programme at Bloomberg is an exciting opportunity to enter the company in a full-time role, take on real responsibility, and discover new skills from day one. Our apprentices make meaningful contributions to our company, while also learning across the industry. Targeted at school leavers, young professionals, military veterans, and those seeking a career change, our program is designed to bridge the gap between the British education system and the ever-changing job market.

The Role:

The Contracts team is a part of Bloomberg’s Finance and Administration department and plays a critical role in providing both customer service and operational support across the organization. Our Team is responsible for managing client account database for all Lines of Business. We are at the frontline of client interaction, delivering exceptional service while collaborating with key internal stakeholders including Sales, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Technical teams. This cross-functional collaboration is critical to delivering tailored, effective, and compliant solutions that meet evolving client and business needs.

As a Contracts Coordinator, you will oversee a wide range of client support workflows, often exceeding 70 tasks daily, spanning the full contract lifecycle: account and order creation, contract generation, execution, and document retention/archival. Your expertise will directly contribute to Bloomberg’s ability to scale operations, maintain legal and operational rigor, and deliver exceptional client service.

In our fast-paced and dynamic environment, the role demands exceptional organizational skills, an unwavering commitment to accuracy, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. The work we do is essential, not just to the smooth functioning of our internal systems, but to the trust and satisfaction of Bloomberg’s global client base.

Eligibility criteria:

Three A-levels (or equivalent) with grades (predicted or achieved) A - C
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
Possess the right to work in the UK
Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years

What we would like to see:

Have strong multi-tasking skills:

Receive, analyze, validate and process Service Order Requests (SORs).
Act as a critical gatekeeper in the contract process by interpreting and verifying service requests.
Ensure all requests comply with Bloomberg’s legal, regulatory, and operational standards, while mitigating risk exposure and ensuring compliance with company requirements.
Ensure accurate contracts are issued to clients in a timely manner.
Respond to high volume inquiries (calls, live chats, ticket requests) from internal and external clients regarding contract and account operations, ensuring process continuity and minimizing disruptions to product support.
Oversee the full lifecycle of contract execution, including receipt, signature verification, and secure archival.

Have strong attention to detail and analytic approach:

Maintain global agreements and customer legal entity databases, ensuring appropriate documentation is signed by the clients, and that database integrity is maintained.
Mitigate risk for Bloomberg and our Customers by providing stewardship on - Contracts related processes and implementing policy guidelines

Drive platinum Customer Service:

Partner with Bloomberg Sales, Operations, Accounting, Installations and Negotiations teams globally to provide extraordinary customer experience
Assist all clients with contract related inquiries that contribute to the finalization of the sales process
Effectively communicate between internal and external partners, and liaise on issue management and resolution times
Think ahead to identify next steps and consequences of events or actions and evaluate whether arguments or cases are complete and sound

Be Technically Inclined:

Use various research and knowledge platforms to execute daily responsibilities
Troubleshoot technology failures to allow business to move forward seamlessly

You'll need to have:

Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
Experience in customer service-related role
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and quality
A results oriented approach: have the drive and energy to achieve excellent results
Ability to display confidence, emotional intelligence, and decisiveness throughout your daily responsibilities
Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Attention to detail with analytical skill
Strong aptitude for learning various systems in a fast-paced environment (Bloomberg Terminal, Microsoft Suite, SAP, Kofax)
