Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality and janitorial work is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional setting committed to high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens as required
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Assist with additional cleaning tasks in public areas when necessary
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service
