Full job description

Financial Administration Assistant – Financial Planning Team

Bigmore Associates is a long-standing and well-established financial services firm that offers a wide range of support and financial services to businesses and individuals.

We are looking for a Financial Administration Assistant to join our Financial Planning Team. Our office is based in Walton on Thames and this role is 5 days working in the office. Our weekly working hours are 37.5 hours between the hours of 8.30am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.

What skills, qualifications and experience do I need to have?

Previous experience in an administrative role within financial services, wealth management or financial planning would be advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience using financial planning or CRM systems would be advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
Professional and client-focused approach
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C/4 or above
A willingness to learn and develop within the financial services industry

What are my key responsibilities?

Providing administrative support to Financial Planners and the wider Financial Planning Team
Preparing client documentation, application forms and review packs
Liaising with clients, providers and third parties in a professional and timely manner
Managing client records and ensuring information is accurate and up to date
Assisting with new business processing and monitoring progress through to completion
Scheduling meetings and maintaining adviser diaries
Handling incoming correspondence, emails and telephone enquiries
Supporting the team to ensure compliance and regulatory standards are met
Assisting with general office administration duties as required

What is the compensation package?

The salary range for this role is up to £25,625 per annum. Final agreed salary will depend on your qualifications and experience.

Our team is also eligible for a non contractual 10% discretionary bonus annually, which will depend on company profits, hitting your KPIs and exhibiting the behaviours we expect from our team, in line with our core values of:
