Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all Swimmers at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to compliance management, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently. As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe environment for swimmers of all ages.

Responsibilities

Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and prevent accidents.
Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and rescue assistance as needed.
Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment.
Maintain clear communication with team members and patrons regarding safety procedures.
Participate in regular training sessions to keep skills sharp and stay updated on best practices in lifeguarding.
Document any incidents or accidents that occur within the facility.

Qualifications

Current RLSS NPLQ certification is essential
Enhanced DBS and Safeguarding Certificates, although we can help apply.
Strong compliance management skills to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patrons and staff.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
Previous experience in a lifeguarding role is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Join our team and contribute to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors at our aquatic facility!
