Full job description

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, organised Administrative Assistant to join our busy office team at Bill Plant Driving School — one of the UK's leading driving school networks and three-time National Driving School of the Year.

You'll be the first point of contact for pupils and driving instructors, keeping communications running smoothly and ensuring our team can focus on what they do best. While this role is offered on a zero-hours contract, regular hours of up to 40 per week are available for the right person

What You'll Be Doing

Managing and responding to high volumes of email from pupils and instructors
Organising inboxes — sorting, filing, and prioritising correspondence
Answering inbound calls and handling enquiries professionally
Making outbound calls as required
Maintaining accurate records of all communications
Supporting the wider team with general administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good attention to detail and organisational ability
Comfortable with email systems and standard office software (Outlook, Word, etc.)
Professional telephone manner
Previous admin or customer service experience is a plus — but not essential
