Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems.
Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair work.
Assist in the assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety guidelines.

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing or related trades such as carpentry or mechanical work is essential.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes is highly desirable.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, basic maths for measurements and calculations, and experience with heavy lifting are important assets.
Experience working in commercial environments or operating commercial driving vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory.
Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
