Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant

Location: Carehealth Pharmacy, Milton Keynes

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Reports to: Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in providing a safe, efficient, and professional pharmacy service. This role involves working closely with customers, dispensing medication, managing stock, and helping maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the sale and supply of over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
Provide excellent customer service and advice under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Prepare and label prescriptions accurately.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all relevant healthcare and data protection regulations.
Manage stock levels, including receiving, checking, and storing pharmaceutical deliveries.
Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
Support with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, and managing repeat prescription requests.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
The candidate should possess basic IT skills and be capable of using electronic pharmacy systems.
Knowledge of NHS services and local community health needs.
