Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to wire a kitchen and a couple other items on a property refurbishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in electrical work who are committed to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation and repair tasks
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) are highly desirable
Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role with a solid understanding of electrical systems
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Valid UK driving licence
