We are currently recruiting Security Officers for the remaining 2026 festival season, with opportunities for ongoing work on construction sites, business parks, commercial premises and static security assignments across Yorkshire.

About the Role
As a Security Officer, you may be deployed to festivals, events, construction sites, business parks or commercial premises.
- Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing a professional and visible security presence.
- Access and egress control.
- Gatehouse and reception duties.
- Static guarding and regular foot patrols.
- Protecting people, property and assets.
- Preventing unauthorised access and responding to incidents.
- Monitoring CCTV where authorised.
- Completing accurate incident reports and site documentation.
- Delivering excellent customer service.
- Working safely and professionally while representing Muninn Protection.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role you must:
- Hold a valid SIA Security Guard Licence or SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- A Door Supervisor Licence is required for all festival and event deployments.
- Have the legal Right to Work in the UK (proof will be required before any work is offered).
- Speak, read and write good English to a professional standard.
- Be reliable, punctual and professional in your approach.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Be willing to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a professional team.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Although not essential, the following would be advantageous:
- Previous experience in construction, static or event security.
- Basic DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one if required).
- First Aid qualification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own transport.
Pay
£13.50–£15.50 per hour
Rates of pay are dependent on the assignment, licence held, experience and client requirements.
