Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fryer/Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and cooking food items, particularly fried dishes, while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong attention to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This position offers valuable experience in food preparation and hospitality operations.

Duties

Prepare and cook food items, specialising in fried dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Assist with meal preparation, including assembling ingredients and following recipes accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Serve customers courteously, taking orders and delivering food promptly
Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to during food handling and preparation
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during busy periods
Assist in cleaning dining areas and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods, particularly frying, is advantageous
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices within a hospitality environment
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting is desirable
A genuine interest in culinary arts and hospitality industry best practices
