About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career within finance and accounting, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

This role would suit someone looking to begin a career within finance and accounting, whether you are seeking your first office-based role or looking to develop existing administrative experience within a finance environment.

You will support the day-to-day operation of the finance department, assisting with a variety of administrative and accounting tasks whilst developing your knowledge and experience within a busy business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Importing and processing transaction reports within the finance system
Completing daily reconciliations and investigating any variances identified
Producing cash collection reports and monitoring refunds
Assisting with monthly analysis of card transaction balances
Supporting the processing of charges relating to missing stock
Setting up new customer accounts, including completing credit checks
Providing administrative support to the Accounts Receivable function
Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required

About You

Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively
Flexible and willing to support across a variety of tasks and responsibilities
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
