Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality sector while working in a welcoming setting. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using till systems.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including cleaning equipment and serving areas regularly.
Engage with customers to enhance their experience, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Skills

Barista experience or background in food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
Ability to serve customers efficiently with a friendly demeanour.
Good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong organisational skills to keep work areas tidy and stocked throughout shifts. This role offers an engaging work environment where you can hone your hospitality skills while providing exceptional service to our customers.
