Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (Ofsted)

£65,000 per annum + Annual Bonus
Chester

Embrace Care is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist Ofsted-regulated Children's Residential Home in Chester supporting children and young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and complex needs.

This is a rare opportunity for a high-performing Registered Manager to oversee the opening of a new therapeutic children's home while also providing line management support to a sister service. Located in a peaceful countryside setting, this specialist home has been designed to provide a calm, structured and therapeutic environment where children can thrive, develop independence and achieve positive outcomes.

About the Home

Our specialist Children's Residential Home supports children and young people with:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Learning Disabilities
ADHD
Additional and Complex Needs

The service operates within a therapeutic model designed to promote emotional regulation, stability, independence and long-term positive outcomes.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will hold full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, management and compliance of the home.

Key responsibilities include:

Full Registered Manager accountability under Ofsted regulations
Leading and developing a high-performing residential childcare team
Safeguarding oversight and quality assurance
Ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
Driving continuous improvement and inspection readiness
Recruitment, induction, supervision and development of staff
Managing performance, culture and standards across the service
Delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for children and young people
Working collaboratively with families, professionals and external agencies
Participating in the senior leadership on-call rota

Essential Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-regulated Children's Residential Home
Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection outcomes
Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
Experience supporting children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and complex needs
Excellent safeguarding, leadership and people management skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
