Full job description

Experienced Driver & Yard Person Required

Tool & Plant Hire Company

We are looking for a reliable, energetic and hardworking Experienced Driver & Yard Person to join our busy tool and plant hire business.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering and collecting tools, plant, and equipment to and from customer sites.
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
Preparing, cleaning, checking, and maintaining hire equipment.
Organising and maintaining a tidy, safe, and efficient yard.
Assisting customers with collections and returns.
Carrying out routine vehicle and equipment inspections.
Supporting the depot team with general yard and warehouse duties.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (essential).
Experience driving trailers and transporting plant or hire equipment.
Forklift licence preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate).
Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
