Full job description

We are looking for a fully qualified electrician to join our team based in Rodington. We are a construction firm and work location will vary but we aim to keep all projects to within a 30 min travel time.

Responsibilities

To be fully competent in the below areas;
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Inspect electrical components to identify hazards and defects
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Experience:
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools such as pliers, wire strippers, and screwdrivers
- Knowledge of power tools such as drills, saws, and conduit benders
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and transformers
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance and safety

This job opportunity is on a self employed basis as part of the CIS scheme. You will be required to work Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.30. Other general labour tasks may also be asked of you from time to time.

You will be required to register as an operative on our Napit registration - proof of certificates will be required.

Pay: £17.50-£20.00 per hour
