Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and a lively atmosphere. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure that every customer feels welcomed and well-cared-for, whether they’re enjoying a casual drink or attending a special event. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately, ensuring prompt and friendly service
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
Assist with food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods or special events
Handle cash transactions and operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Support catering and banquet functions by setting up bars, serving drinks, and clearing tables as required

Skills

Proven experience in fine dining or food industry environments with a focus on customer service
Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, serving techniques, and food handling safety standards
Previous banquet or catering experience is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
Hospitality background with familiarity in food preparation and food service operations
Barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus
Demonstrated understanding of dietary considerations and food safety protocols
Energetic attitude with a passion for creating welcoming atmospheres in hospitality settings
