Full job description

The Role

We are looking for a proactive Credit Controller to join our growing Accounts Team. As the main credit controller you’ll play a key role in managing the group ledger, building great relationships with customers, ensuring invoices are paid on time, and helping to resolve queries quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

Contact customers by phone and email to collect outstanding invoices
Send out statements and reminders
Work with customers to resolve any queries or concerns
Investigate disputes, supported by the team
Prepare and issue monthly debtors reports
Work with the team to ensure payments are allocated correctly
Be the key contact for any credit control enquiries internally and externally
Review customer accounts to ensure any discrepancies are cleared
Assist in wider accounts team tasks when required

About You

Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work under own initiative
Strong IT skills including excel
Experience using Xero accounts package preferred but not essential

Business Hours and Location

This is an office-based role located in South Gyle, Edinburgh, a well-connected business district with excellent transport links.

Working hours are 10 hours per week flexible over 2 non-consecutive days 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
