Office Manager – Renewables & Building Company

Location: Edinburgh EH15
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are a growing Renewables and building company looking for an experienced and organised Office Manager to join our team. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day running of the office and ensuring the smooth coordination of administrative processes that keep our projects on track.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced environment, supporting both the office and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the office.
Provide administrative support to the Directors, Project Managers, and site teams.
Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally.
Schedule meetings, manage diaries, and coordinate appointments.
Prepare, organise, and maintain project documentation and filing systems.
Process purchase orders, invoices, and supplier accounts.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Assist with payroll administration and timesheets.
Support health and safety administration, including maintaining training and compliance records.
Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
Assist with tender documentation and project administration where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience as an Office Manager or Senior Administrator, ideally within the construction or building industry.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with accounting software such as Sage or Xero would be an advantage.
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
A professional, reliable, and positive approach.
