Are you ready to play a key role in an organisation driving change and delivering Luton’s bold 2040 vision? Luton Rising, the Luton Council‑owned company that owns London Luton Airport, is seeking a talented and analytical Finance Analyst to support the CFO on some of the organisation’s most strategically important projects.
In this high‑impact role, you’ll provide financial modelling, analysis and insight across finance, commercial property and airport operations. You’ll help shape future business cases and the long‑term commercial model of the airport, supporting decisions that will have lasting impact for Luton and its communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys complex analysis, strategic thinking and working closely with senior leaders.
What you will do
- Lead the production of robust financial models and forecasts to support business cases and strategic decisions.
- Provide complex financial analysis and scenario testing across commercial, property and airport operations.
- Support the development of Luton Rising’s future commercial model, including long‑term projections.
- Prepare clear, accurate financial projections and statements for senior management.
- Provide high‑quality financial advice and insight to the CFO and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is accurate, well‑governed, confidential and aligned with organisational values.
Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.
What we are looking for
- Significant experience in financial analysis, modelling and scenario testing within a complex organisation.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with advanced Excel and financial systems experience (e.g. Sage).
- Proven ability to provide clear, strategic financial advice at a senior level.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience supporting business cases, long‑term planning or commercial decision‑making.
- A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post‑qualification experience.
