Head’s Executive Assistant & Office Manager

Location: Beachborough School
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week (term time only)

We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and personable Executive Assistant & Office Manager to support the Head and lead the day-to-day running of our busy School Office.

This is a pivotal, varied role at the heart of the school, combining executive support, office management, HR administration and stakeholder engagement. You will act as a key point of contact for parents, staff, governors and visitors, ensuring a professional, efficient and welcoming environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive executive support to the Head, including diary management, correspondence and meeting coordination
Act as the first point of contact for the Head, managing communications with professionalism and discretion
Oversee the smooth running of the School Office and reception
Line manage administrative support staff and coordinate office operations
Manage and maintain the Parent Portal and key school systems
Support HR administration and school-wide communications
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You:

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, PA or Office Manager
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional, discreet and confident dealing with sensitive information
A flexible team player with a ‘can-do’, hands-on approach and willingness to muck in across all areas of school life
Calm, adaptable and committed to providing exceptional service
