Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per year, depending on experience
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Working arrangement: Site-based

The role

Your Apartment operates 65 serviced apartments across Milton Keynes.

We are looking for an organised and dependable Property Operations Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day running and standards of these apartments.

This is a standalone, hands-on position rather than a traditional management role. You will be the main person on the ground in Milton Keynes, supported by our central reservations, housekeeping, maintenance and operations teams.

The position is approximately 60% administration and coordination and 40% apartment inspections, stock control and other on-site duties.

It would suit someone currently working as a Property Supervisor, Assistant Property Manager, Building Manager, Facilities Coordinator or Hotel Duty Manager who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a location.

Main responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operation of our 65 Milton Keynes apartments.
Check that apartments are clean, presented correctly and ready for arriving guests.
Complete regular apartment, communal-area and property-standard inspections.
Identify maintenance and housekeeping issues and ensure they are recorded and followed through.
Coordinate access for cleaners, maintenance teams, contractors and suppliers.
Carry out stock counts and monitor linen, toiletries, cleaning products and apartment supplies.
Place and manage stock orders to ensure the operation is properly supplied.
Maintain accurate records, reports, checklists and operational information.
Review upcoming arrivals, departures and longer stays to identify anything requiring attention.
Work closely with our central reservations and operations teams to resolve guest and property issues.
Investigate recurring problems and help put practical solutions in place.
Make sure company standards and operating procedures are consistently followed.
Deal with occasional urgent operational issues when required.

This is not a desk-only position. You must be comfortable moving between administrative work and physically checking apartments, stockrooms and communal areas throughout the day.

About you

You will be organised, practical and comfortable being trusted to manage your own workload.

You should have:

Experience in property management, serviced accommodation, hotels, facilities, housekeeping supervision or a similar operational environment.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Good attention to detail and the ability to spot problems before they affect a guest.
Confidence coordinating contractors, cleaners and other service providers.
The ability to prioritise tasks and follow issues through to completion.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence using property systems, email, spreadsheets and task-management software.
A calm and practical approach when problems arise.
The ability to work independently without needing constant direction.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Previous serviced-apartment experience would be useful but is not essential. We are more interested in someone who is reliable, organised and prepared to take genuine ownership of the operation.

Your Apartment is a growing UK serviced-apartment and aparthotel operator with properties across Milton Keynes, Bristol and London.

We provide design-led apartments for corporate travellers, extended stays and leisure guests. Our operation combines the service standards of a hotel with the space and flexibility of an apartment.

This position offers the opportunity to take responsibility for an established Milton Keynes operation while being supported by a wider and experienced operations team.
