Self employed position:

We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician/beautican to join our vibrant beauty salon in the heart of hitchin town. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional nail services and beauty treatments while providing outstanding client experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilise diverse skills, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The position is self employed. this is a daily rental role which is £40+ per day and suitable for individuals eager to develop their expertise within the beauty industry. The ideal candidate will have a small client base but wanting to expand. A portfolio of work will be needed and a trade test to show your skills and ability.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, BIAB, and nail art with precision and creativity.
Exceptional beauty services using salon trusted equipment.
Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering professional advice, and ensuring a relaxing experience.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations; sterilise tools and workstations after each appointment.
Engage with clients through social media management to promote services, showcase work, and attract new clientele.

Skills

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong product knowledge skills alongside services.
Strong management skills with the ability to organise appointments efficiently.
Excellent social media management capabilities to build your online presence.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Knowledge of nail art trends.
Knowledge of beauty trends.
Outstanding communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
