Join our energetic team at Clip 'n Climb Uxbridge as a General Staff member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all visitors. Whether you're assisting guests, maintaining safety standards, or supporting daily operations, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest services. Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive
Assist visitors with check-in procedures, safety briefings, and answering any questions about the facility
Support safety protocols by monitoring activity on climbing walls and ensuring all participants follow guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
Support management in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and equipment checks
Handle guest concerns or issues promptly to ensure a positive experience for everyone
Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless and enjoyable environment that encourages repeat visits

Arena Duties

Carry out daily & monthly safety checks on climbing equipment
Ensure the safe running of the Clip ‘n Climb arena in accordance with risk assessments and operating procedures
Interact and assist with customers, providing an exceptional customer experience
Work with team members to ensure all shift operational duties are undertaken
Support with any events and promotional activities
Attend ongoing staff training and development opportunities
Confidently carry out duties at heights of up to 8.5 metres
Safety and Rescue Operations (Training will be given)
Understand and support reception duties
Support servery/kitchen duties when required

Reception Area

Assist with customer enquiries and bookings for the Clip ‘n Climb centre
Keeping accurate time sheets daily
Answer emails and answerphone messages
Take payments (in person and over the phone)
Make bookings (in person and over the phone)
Organise group bookings
Book birthday parties (including sending payment reminders and collecting final payments)
Cash up till(s)
Charity requests
Keep reception ‘topped up’ (wristbands, Valo codes, disclaimer sheets, merchandise, stationery...)
Ensure all information is up-to-date, for customers and other staff members (checking website, Facebook posts, tills...)
Administrative tasks given by General manager or assistant
Cleaning and general tidiness of reception/downstairs areas

Servery/Kitchen Area

Welcome customers and give them a great experience
Present products in an attractive and inviting way
Assist the organisation and provisions for birthday parties and corporate events.
Undergo relevant training courses
Cleaning duties, including washing, sanitizing, and drying dishes
Re-stock refrigerators, shelves, and displays
Kitchen food preparation

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Punctual, able to work under own initiative without supervision
Management skills or experience are advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
Willingness to learn safety procedures related to climbing activities and customer service standards
Flexible and adaptable in undertaking varying activities
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and peak times
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering excellent guest experiences
Food Level 2 Certification for servery/kitchen (can be attained)
First Aid Training Preferred, but will also be provided if necessary for the role
Enhanced DBS Checks will be carried out
