The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager from the electrical wholesale industry to lead sales performance, develop customer relationships, and drive business growth.
This is a key leadership role focused on increasing sales revenue, improving margin performance, and expanding our customer base across trade, contractor, and industrial accounts.
You will work closely with the sales team, suppliers, and senior management to identify opportunities and deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across existing and new electrical wholesale customers.
- Develop strong relationships with electrical contractors, M&E firms, and trade customers.
- Identify and win new business opportunities across the area.
- Manage and develop key customer accounts to maximise long-term value.
- Support and motivate the internal sales and trade counter team.
- Improve margin performance and product mix across the branch.
- Work closely with suppliers to maximise promotions and pricing opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and market trends.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently maintained.
About You
Essential Requirements
- Ideally proven experience within the UK electrical wholesale industry.
- Strong background in sales, account management, or business development.
- Track record of achieving sales targets and margin growth.
- Strong understanding of electrical products and trade customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Experience leading or supporting a sales team.
- Established network within the electrical contracting sector.
- Knowledge of trade counter or branch-based wholesale operations.
