Full job description

The Ugly Duckling is a multi award winning based at Caistor Lakes leisure park.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Restaurant Manager.

Our Restaurant Manager is a key part of our management team and will play a vital role in the daily success and running of the restaurant. It’s all about creating a winning team and delivering the best service to our guests and customers.

Must have experience working in a like for like role, in a large volume establishment up to 2000 meals per week.
Experience required in managing a team of 30+ members of staff
Be responsible for recruitment, induction and on boarding of any new team members and ongoing staff training.
Have great leadership skills with a hands-on approach and effective communication, ability to engage and motivate your team through daily briefs.
Have an good eye and attention to detail, high standards and be able to work on own initiative
Have a passion for outstanding service, ensuring your team are as knowledgeable and confident in their roles as you are.
Be passionate, have enthusiasm, flare and charisma - eager to improve business and bring fresh ideas to the table
Be responsible for staff rotas, ensuring wages are kept to a set 30% against takings.
Order all wet stock, and stock needed for the front of house.
Immediate start available for the right candidate - Starting salary £28,000 plus package, negotiable dependant upon experience. Probationary period of 3 months, with a view to increase the salary.
