Job Title: Production Lead Operative (Night Shift)

JOB PURPOSE:

The Lead Operator will comply with the production plan and lead their team in producing product to a high standard and will be responsible for ensuring targets are achieved.

MAIN DUTIES:

Achievement of daily production plan.
Operation of line to Standard Operating Procedures.
Facilitation of seamless handover to incoming shift.
Ensure all finished goods are completed as per product specifications.
Establish sound working relationship with other Operators, Supervisors and other team members to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved from the line.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:

Ensuring that all information relevant to “preventative and protective measures” is passed to shift supervisor.
Liaise with the Health & Safety Assistant to establish controls for health & safety to include: -Daily Start Up checks, monitoring of corrective actions.
Training new Operatives in-line with Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring compliance with these procedures.
Conduct yourself in a responsible and courteous manner at all times.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as and when required and requested
Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies.
Take an active part in preventing accidents, ensuring all accidents and near miss incidents are reported in a timely manner.
Adhere to the Food Safety & Quality Manual, Policies and Associated Procedures.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent - Night Shift (1600-0200)
