Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and talent for grooming will shine! In this energetic role, you'll provide professional grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of our furry clients. Your expertise will help ensure each pet leaves feeling happy, comfortable, and looking their best. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment dedicated to animal care and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs
Assess each pet’s health and behavior to ensure safe grooming practices and identify any signs of health issues requiring veterinary attention
Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, adhering to sanitation standards to prevent infections
Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care
Handle animals gently and confidently, ensuring a stress-free experience for each dog during grooming procedures
Assist with animal care tasks such as feeding, walking, or light handling when needed to support overall well-being
Lift and maneuver dogs of varying sizes safely, demonstrating physical strength and proper technique for heavy lifting

Experience

Previous experience in dog grooming or a related animal care role is highly preferred
Knowledge of veterinary practices or veterinary experience is a strong plus, aiding in health assessments during grooming sessions
Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns effectively
Ability to lift heavy dogs safely and comfortably as part of routine grooming tasks
Passion for animals combined with a positive attitude and attention to detail ensures top-quality service
